We had our first camping trip of the year last weekend. Wil enjoyed playing in the sand by the water. He must have filled that bucket with wet sand 3 or 4 times, which takes a while when you're only one!
It was H-O-T... so we were in luck when Grandma Geurts brought out some of Adam's old matchbox cars. They kept Wil happy under a shade tree for long periods of time.
I've noticed that it's really hard to convince my "toddler" to stay in one place. He could care less about sunburns & high temperatures. This red blanket was like a target for Wil, every once and a while he'd crash here to play for a while.
Any tips on camping? We are taking Lily, Molly and Ella camping 3 times this summer. However, we are cheating...we are staying in cabins. I agree that it is hard to keep them in one place, but be thankful you only have one toddler! Looked like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see you and catch up. Free any time soon? Lana
