Houdini

We have a new deck. It is fabulous! It's great for relaxing, barbeques, etc. It's also a great spot for my one year old! I can throw some toys out there & leave him be for very loooong periods of time.

This gives me time to clean my kitchen and do other "very important" Mommy things! I leave the screen door open, so I can always hear him of course & I block off the stairway too.

The other day, however, I stopped "cleaning" to hear... nothing. Hmm, I thought. I wonder what he's getting into? There's not much on the deck to break. I walked to the screen door to find... NOTHING. No baby. My child was off the deck. I was terrified, until I found this:

Do you see that little speck? That little speck of a child in between those chairs? Yep. That's him. He somehow squeezed between the chairs & climbed DOWN the stairs! What?!?! I've never seen him climb down any stairs before!

Apparently, he wanted this ball to throw to his dog.

Is It Summer Yet?

We've been spending a lot of time outside lately. Wil loves taking walks to the park in his new wagon, riding his two, brand-spankin' new 4-wheelers and he really enjoys playing in the dirt. Now if only it would stay warm out for longer than 1-2 days at a time. We're all geared up for everything summer!

The Professional

Remember this... Wil passed out on the EDGE of the couch (in between Daddy's legs) at 3 weeks old?

Adam's still got mad skills. He can put Wil to sleep like nothin' I've ever seen before. Wil does not fall asleep on me. I have to sway back and forth while constantly pushing in his Nuk. This just makes him more frustrated and he screams at me even louder. He's so not a snuggler - "just put me to bed!" he wails (if he could talk, that is). 

Adam, on the other hand, simply ignores him and watches TV... eventually this happens:

Wrastlin'

Every night after dinner, Adam & Wil "wrestle". It's one of my favorite times of the day. Can you see why?!? 

There's nothing more adorable than your son giggling uncontrollably while rolling around on the ground with his Daddy.

Hail - Yikes!

Last night, Gravel, Adam & I (not Wil) were woke up by what sounded like a billion golf balls hitting our roof. It wasn't golf balls. It was hail!

Luckily Adam's truck doesn't appear to have any damage... that we've noticed anyways.
